Meryl Streep’s Shocking Separation Confirmed.

The spokeswoman for Meryl Streep has verified that the actress and her spouse Don Gummer have been divorced for more than six years. The American sculptor and the multiple award-winning actress were wed in 1978. The four children of Streep and Gummer are son Henry Wolfe Gummer and daughters Mamie, Grace, and Louisa Gummer, who are all actors.

Known for her parts in films such as “Kramer Vs Kramer,” “Sophie’s Choice,” and “The Iron Lady,” Streep has recently acted in a number of TV shows and films, including the drama “Let Them All Talk,” comedy series “Only Murders In The Building,” and the Netflix satire “Don’t Look Up.” She has won three Oscars and been nominated for 21 awards.

“First I’m going to thank Don because when you thank your husband at the end of the speech they play him out with the music and I want him to know that everything I value most in our lives, you’ve given me,” Streep said in her Oscar acceptance speech for “The Iron Lady.”
