WOMAN LEARNED HER FIANCE’ TRUE WEALTH AT THE ALTAR, AS SHE WAS BELIEVING THAT HE WAS A JANITOR

When Sylvia arrived at the church with her wedding dress, her sister and Sylvia were shocked when they had seen the expensive cars at the parking lot. Her sister asked, “Do any of these expensive cars seem familiar to you?”

It was weird because her future husband wasn’t rich, and as far as Sylvia knew, her fiance’s family and friends shouldn’t be that rich to have that many expensive cars.

“Never mind, they must be someone else’s,” Sylvia said to herself. Then her bridesmaids showed up and took her in when her mother called Sylvia.

“Come on, Sylvia,” she said, “It’s time for you to walk down the aisle with your father.”

Sylvia didn’t had seen her grrom, Rob, yet. But when she started to walk down the aisle, she couldn’t recognize Rob, who was waiting at the altar.

The decorations, and everything were incredibly looking expensive. “These must be super expensive. How did Rob afford to get these?” She thought to herself.

Her fiance, Ron, who was working as a janitor was now looking like a millionaire. His groom suit was designer made, and his shoes were incredibly expensive.

A month ago Sylvia was going to the shelter she was volunteering at, with the food she bought. As she dropped the food, on her way back, sho bought some more food to give them to homeless people.

Then she noticed a young man who was working at the yard of a big house in the neighborhood. She thought that he was an employee of the rich family who owns the house, she thought giving him a sandwich and a bottle of water might be a good idea.

“Here you go, sir! This is for you,” she gave the bag to the youyng man.

“For me? Oh, that’s so kind of you!” The man responded.

“You must be feeling hungry after working so hard. Did you start cleaning yards in this neighborhood recently? I have never seen you before,” she asked.

“Umm… I―”

“Oh, never mind. Please have this sandwich. It’s really good!” She stopped him.

After the man took a bite from the sandwich, “Oh, this is so delicious! The meat is super juicy. It’s Jamón Ibérico de Bellota, right?” He asked.

“No,” Sylvia laughed. “It’s just a regular pepperoni sandwich from the grocery store. Nothing fancy.”

Then Sylvia introduced herself, and the man replied as, “I’m Rob.”

“It was so nice to meet you, Rob!” Sylvia smiled. “I hope to see you again here.”

As their friendship started, soon their romantic relationship had started too.

Their first date came after two weeks from their first meeting. He arrived on foot at her door, and asked that if she would be comfortable to walk to the nearest restaurant. “No problem, Rob. I never said I wanted to go on a date with you in a car.” She held Rob’s hand, and they started to walk.

“So, what do you do besides your job?” Sylvia asked.

“No one has ever asked me this question before. You’re the first woman who wants to know about my personality,” Rob said.

“Oh, really? That’s such a basic question!”

After their dinner, when they were walking on the street, Rob held Sylvia’s hand and kenlt down. “What are you doing?” Sylvia asked as she was confused.

“Will you marry me, Sylvia?”

“Rob? Oh my God! Yes!”

“You’re in for a surprise!” Rob hugged to her.

“What surprise?” Sylvia asked.

“I will reveal that on the day we tie the knot!”

Then two weeks later, as Rob standing with Sylvia at the altar with their eyes looking at each other. Rob was a millionaire, while Sylvia was thinking that he was a janitor.

“I never told you about my business because I wanted to be sure you were the right one,” Rob said.

“What do you mean?”

“You were the first girl impressed by my personality, not my wealth. You never cared about money. My interests, nature, and values were all that mattered to you, and that made me fall in love with you, Sylvia.” Rob smiled. “I was already looking for a girl, and when I met you, I was almost sure you were the one I had been looking for.”

“You know what’s the best thing about you?” Rob asked. “You don’t need a lot of money to enjoy life. You find joy in the simplest things, like spending time with the poor and feeding dogs. You’re the woman I always wanted!”
